Terms & Conditions – Vale Silente

Welcome to Vale Silente. These Terms & Conditions outline the guidelines, responsibilities, and expectations that ensure a calm, respectful, and restorative experience for all guests.

By making a reservation or engaging with our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Reservations & Payment

  • All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation

  • A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking

  • Accepted payment methods will be clearly presented during the booking process

  • Prices are listed in [€] and may include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated

As an intimate retreat with limited suites, each reservation is carefully held and prepared.

Vale Silente reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings at its discretion.

2. Pre-Opening Reservations

As Vale Silente prepares for its opening in April 2027, early reservations or expressions of interest may be offered.

  • Dates and availability may be subject to refinement during the pre-opening phase

  • In the unlikely event of schedule changes, guests will be informed promptly and offered alternative options or refunds where applicable

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans may change. Our policy reflects the intimate nature of the estate and the preparation involved in each stay.

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival: full refund - enough time to reserve again.

  • Cancellations made within 10 days of arrival: non-refundable or partially refundable.

  • No-shows and early departures are non-refundable

We recommend travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

4. Arrival & Departure

Check-in is welcomed between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, allowing for a calm and intentional arrival experience.

  • Arrivals outside of these hours may be accommodated by prior arrangement

  • Late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability

5. Guest Experience & Conduct

Vale Silente is an adults-only estate designed for rest, privacy, and quiet enjoyment.

Guests are kindly asked to:

  • Respect the tranquility of the environment and other guests

  • Avoid excessive noise or disruptive behavior

  • Treat all spaces, furnishings, and amenities with care

  • Follow any guidance provided for the use of spa or outdoor areas

Vale Silente reserves the right to end a stay early if guest behavior significantly disrupts the experience of others.

6. Occupancy & Visitors

  • Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless prior approval is given

  • Maximum occupancy per suite must be respected

7. Property Use, Garden & Damages

Guests are invited to enjoy the natural surroundings of Vale Silente, including the garden areas.

  • Small, respectful harvesting from the vegetable garden may be permitted for personal use

  • Guests are asked to treat the land and environment with care and mindfulness

Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.

  • Damage to property, furnishings, or equipment may result in additional charges

  • Any issues should be communicated promptly so they may be resolved with care

8. Wellness & Spa Use

Our retreat includes wellness-inspired features designed for relaxation and restoration.

  • All facilities are used at the guest’s own discretion and responsibility

  • Guests should consider any personal health conditions before use

  • Vale Silente is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse of facilities

9. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Vale Silente is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

  • We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or unforeseen events during your stay

  • Guests assume responsibility for their personal safety and well-being

10. Force Majeure

Vale Silente is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Natural events

  • Government regulations or restrictions

  • Travel disruptions

  • Other unforeseen circumstances

11. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal.
